ALDI Australia has unveiled its extravagant Christmas range — with prices starting from as little as $3.99.

Shoppers can expect to find everything they need to plan the ultimate Christmas spread that won’t break the bank, ranging from best-selling puddings and fruit mince tarts to lobsters and tiger prawns.

The highly anticipated lobster tails ($34.99/2pk) are making a return, alongside scallops wrapped in maple flavoured bacon ($13.99/6pk), 1kg Frozen Australian Tiger Prawns ($26.99) and Atlantic salmon with herb crust ($22.99/700g).

ALDI Australia’s shopping expert Kylie Warnke said the 2023 seafood selection has been curated with quality, ease of preparation, and affordability in mind for Aussie families.

“Expect to see the return of lobster tails and our Aussie tiger prawns, and best yet, with prices starting at just $6.99, we have tasty seafood options to suit every budget,” she said.

“The frozen seafood range offers a convenient option for customers looking to plan ahead this festive season, with additional fresh seafood products to be made available in time for Christmas Day.

“ALDI has taken the hard work out of food prep so you can spend less time cooking and more time socialising with these opulent yet convenient freezer feasts.”

The seasonal seafood range will hit stores from October 25.

Meanwhile, the supermarket chain is bringing back its luxury Curated Collection — featuring 21 new and returning products, sourced from leading producers in Australia and the world.

The range includes award-winning items such as Jamaican rum fruit mince tarts ($6.99/6pk), fruit mince almond tarts ($6.99/6pk), salted caramel pudding ($7.29/500g) and chocolate pudding ($7.29/500g).

New products feature salted caramel tarts bombe ($6.29/6pk), berry tarts ($6.49/9pk) and lemon tarts ($6.49/9pk).

“Our luxurious collection is back this year, making it easier for more Australians to enjoy premium festive goodies without the premium price tag,” Warnke said.

“Working with our partners across Australia and around the globe, this year’s collection brings together high quality, luxurious Christmas flavours, available at the lowest prices.”

Shoppers can also find savoury staples — perfect for entertaining, gifts or snacks.

Items to look out for include Mediterranean-style dukkah ($3.99/100g), Australian wild olives ($6.99/300g), Australian extra virgin olive oil ($6.99/375ml) and more.

“For a great Kris Kringle present, why not bundle up the delightful dukkah, olive oil and Australian olives? A delicious gift idea that doesn’t break the bank, coming together for under $18,” Kylie said.

The collection hits shelves for eight weeks from October 24.
