American açai bowl chain Nautical Bowls is set to open its doors Down Under, bringing its mantra “super food, super meal, super life” with it.
Nautical Bowls broke the news over social media earlier this month, saying it is “setting sail and heading to Australia”, with three new stores due to open this December.
“Your new favourite superfood smoothie bowls are coming in hot for Summer,” the chain said.

“We cannot wait to open very soon, starting with our first location in Queensland.”
The initial stores are expected to open in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Perth, with more locations on the horizon.
Area Developer for Nautical Bowls Australia, Dean Lightfoot, says he is spearheading franchise opportunities throughout Australia, and “positioning Nautical Bowls as the premier meal replacement with a focus on convenience and health”, according to LinkedIn.
Nautical Bowl is the second US food chain to announce a move to Australia in recent weeks.
Juice bar giant Jamba said earlier this month it was opening locations in Victoria and Queensland.
