A disgruntled food delivery service customer has gone viral with a claim that their order was tampered with after receiving a pizza that appeared to be half missing.
The customer from Melbourne posted on social media that a “column of bread” had been removed from their herb and garlic pizza.
The Reddit user claimed they had ordered the pizza many times before, and could tell that it did not look normal.

“It’s clear that a column of bread was taken out from my order of herb and garlic squares,” they said.
They also noted that the pizza crust did not make a full circle.

The order was made through DoorDash, and the customer claimed the restaurant confirmed it did not send the pizza in the condition that it was received.
“There was also a considerable delay between the delivery agent receiving the food from the restaurant and his journey towards my home,” the customer said.
“I feel the food was tampered with.
“This is a serious health issue in my book.”
The Reddit user said he had made a complaint to DoorDash.
DoorDash told 7NEWS.com.au that it was “urgently investigating” the incident.
“Our policies strictly prohibit Dashers from tampering with customer orders,” a spokesperson said.
Many shared similar experiences, with a number of them also adding that food tampering was the reason why they no longer used any delivery service apps.
